Artificial Intelligence Robot

For a larger project at Essent we built, among other things, an artificial intelligence robot. The project includes integrating (live) chat on the website with both employees and an AI robot. Additionally, there is integration with CRM to record survey data.

We used, among other things, Google's neural network for natural language. A powerful API that Google itself also uses, with a strong ability to interpret the content of a conversation. Fortis AI had to add a lot of functionality to that, such as self-learning and a useful feature particularly handy in chat that provides links to products and services so you quickly get the right information. The learning logic is still a work in progress and mainly requires a lot of data to analyze.

The applications of our robot are very broad; we therefore see many opportunities to continue with this topic. We are currently building our own chatbot for our MyVox demo site to assist interested parties. In the long term we want the robot to speak as well, becoming a pleasant and effective conversational partner that is always helpful, never gets tired, and knows everything about the company, its products and its employees.

In the meantime we have further developed the artificial intelligence robot and integrated it into various websites; it helps with programming and works full-time as a translator. You can AIR talk via the live chat at the bottom which automatically appears after 10 seconds. It knows the Internet inside out.
